As you might gather, I am not the one to do the usual holiday things. So when the opportunity presents itself to board the abandoned wreck of a racing yacht for a bit of an explore (and just because we happened to be passing) I’ll only pause to check I have my camera. Fan of abandoned rubbish that I am.

I’m not sure what happened to this vessel, it seems to have had an accident, possibly the mast falling down (note the break in that front brace) and also a fire (maybe the same time). Anyway, it’s in a real state and has been at that mooring on the South China sea for some time now. Anyway, I got the chance to have a nose around and managed to figure out how the hatches worked so I could have a look inside the port hull.

Shame really, it would have been an amazing ship before all this. Fast for sure…
